MONTEVERRO
The house flagship wine is the finest expression of the Capalbio terroir; this cuvée of
Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot combines the best locations of our winery. Uncompromising quality control begins in the vineyard with patient care of the vines, rigorous selection during the harvest, and meticulous attention to the terroir during cuveéing. Careful work in the cellar enhances Nature’s gifts.
Production quantities are naturally limited; Monteverro’s velvety texture, distinctive complexity, and striking, multi-faceted bouquet are the result of each individual phase of the production process.
Monteverro 2019 encircles a new chapter in our history: optimal harvest conditions that have marked its exceptionality and result in a great territorial expression.

- Farbe: Black shiny charcoal with touches of magenta and lavender on the rim.
- Nase: Explosion of cedar, pine, cassis fruit paste, paprika, licorice, graphite, cigar box, tobacco leaf, Espelette pepper and oregano.
- Gaumen: Soft but fresh entrance lingering on a mineral and tannic mid palate with touches of milk chocolate, raspberry tart, black licorice with layers of dry pine, black truffle and crushed stones.
