The colour is deep ruby to the rim. This is a wholly complete wine with a balletic balance between the aromatic, flavour and textural intensity of the wine, of which all factors are dialled up 11. It has a delicious aromatic profile of currant, tobacco, and cassis with high definition tannins that are super pixelated, balanced by flesh plum and black cherry fruits, clove, white pepper, saline minerals and earth through a grippy acid finish.

Fragrant blue and black fruits aromatics, rich toasty cedarwood with mocha spices all lead to a full-bodied richness that resonates with soaring tannins, balanced acidity and an everlasting finish of sweet currant fruits, spiced plums, dried Bing cherry, and dried rose petals nuanced by tobacco, white pepper, and sage.

Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot. Mittleres Rubin, fein aufhellender Rand. Verhaltenes Bouquet, als erstes nimmt man Rösttöne war. Dahinter dann Kirschentöne und heller Kaffee und Vanillestängel. Braucht etwas Luft. Im Gaumen elegant, geschliffen und jetzt schon bekömmlich – auf sehr gutem Niveau. Wenn man schlürft zeigt er viele Facetten, von warmer Frucht bis süsslichem Terroir, nachhaltiges Finale. Das ist so richtig grosser Jungweinspass. 17/20 trinken – 2025
