Chardonnay 2011, Tasted

AL – Light golden with a green hue. Intense nose of new oak, stone fruits, nuts, almond and some flinty notes. The palate has a good bite, bold fruit, creamy notes, hints of vanilla, yet with a good freshness and long finish, rather Burgundy style, well made. 91

Chardonnay 2011, WineInspector

Chadonnay 2011, James Suckling

A complex white of such depth and texture with beautiful honey, mineral and sliced-apple character. Hints of toasted oak. Full and super-refined. Very long. Intense. Subtle. Like a premier cru Puligny-Montrachet. This is clearly now in the echelon of the best whites of Italy. Drink or hold.

Tinata 2011, Wine & Spirits

Rich and mouthfilling, with vibrant flavors of black fruit, dark chocolate, fennel and licorice. Earthy and spicy, it’s reminiscent of a southern Rhone, but the bright acidity and lifted finish bring it back to Tuscany.

Tinata 2011, Wine Spectator

Bright and fluid, with black currant, blackberry, vanilla and toast aromas and flavors. Almost racy, showing terrific balance and well-integrated tannins underneath. Features a fine, toasty finish. Syrah and Grenache. Best from 2016 through 2025. 622 cases made.
