Tinata 2014, James Suckling

This has wonderful notes of fresh brambleberries, Chinese plums, Indian spices, forest floor, blueberry essence and violets. The palate is full and fruit-forward yet reserved and savory at the same time. So well structured. Such an enticing blend of syrah and grenache, as always.

Tinata 2014, Wine Advocate by Robert Parker

The 2014 Tinata is a delightful blend of 70% Syrah and 30% Grenache. This wine offers abundance and opulence with dark tones of blackberry, savory spice and cured meat that rise slowly from the bouquet. This full-bodied wine wraps thickly over the palate, thanks to its natural texture and its smooth flavor and tannin integration.

Monteverro 2014, Weinwisser

Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot. Sattes Rubin. Sehr aromatisches, irgendwie beruhigendes Bouquet; Zwetschgetöne, zarter Vanilleschimmer.

Monteverro 2014, James Suckling

This is extremely structured and powerful for the vintage with blackcurrant, sweet tobacco and black fruit character. Full body, chewy yet polished tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Needs time to soften a little. Start drinking in 2020.

Monteverro 2014, Wine Advocate by Robert Parker

The 2014 Monteverro is 40% Cabernet Franc, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot. Most of the wine (80%) is aged in new French oak for 24 months. Grapes are harvested from clay soil sites and each parcel is vinified separately. This is a beautifully crafted and intense red wine that delivers power, complexity and elegant extraction. Dark fruit folds into spice, leather and tobacco. The palate is slightly thinner and more streamlined in this vintage.
