Tinata 2019, Wine Advocate by Robert Parker

A blend of Syrah and Grenache, the Monteverro 2019 Tinata shows wonderful richness and concentration with a full range of spicy and opulent dark fruit aromas. This is a terrific organic wine that can be appreciated most of all thanks to its expertly applied Italian face to these high-performing Rhône varieties. There is a lot of promise in these grapes, especially along this sun-drenched stretch of coastal Tuscany. Tinata is creamy rich and opulent with sweet dark fruit, spice and baking chocolate.

Monteverro Chardonnay 2019, Wine Advocate by Robert Parker

The organic Monteverro 2019 Chardonnay is quite elegant and perhaps more streamlined in this vintage with a direct delivery of creamy fruit aromas. There is preserved lemon, pastry cream and cinnamon, but the wine remains sharply focused throughout. You get a full-bodied white with laser focus and bright acidity to close. Exactly 8,605 bottles were made.

Monteverro 2019, Wine Advocate by Robert Parker

The organic 2019 Monteverro is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot from a vintage that shows natural concentration and richness straight out of the gate. The bouquet is layered with ripe fruit, blackberry jam, oak spice and leather. This is a very oak-heavy wine with a soft finish and hints of sweetness on the close.

Tinata 2019, James Suckling

Lots of dried-meat, pink-peppercorn, ink and smoky character. Medium-to full-bodied with firm, layered tannins that are intense. Lead-pencil and crushed-stone undertones.

Terra di Monteverro 2019, James Suckling

A medium-bodied, well-balanced red with bright cherry, spiced-plum, dried-herb and licorice notes. Spicy. Lightly chewy tannins. Fresh and delicious finish. Blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and merlot. Second wine of Monteverro. Really delicious already.

Monteverro 2019, James Suckling

This is so focused and driven, with aromas of blackberries, black olives, chili chocolate, bay leaves and peppercorns. Some iodine, too. Full-bodied, yet agile and fresh, with a firm, tight tannin frame. Solid.
