There’s a beautiful layered quality to the 2009, more profiund and dense, with baskets of currant fruits, spiced plums, cranverrym tobacco, black truffle, and high toned sagebrush and wild herbs. Satiny tannins build on the everlasting finish with dark chicholate, saline granitic minerals and sandalwood.
