Impenetrable ruby with a black core. Appealing nose, initially smells of mint, then juicy dark currant and blackberry, some cedar wood in the background. Very full on the palate, dark berry fruit paired with dark chocolate (...).

Zeigt sich in der Nach verkostung durchaus noch etwas verhalten, mit Luft dreht er dann auf. Er ist dicht und konzentriert, mit dunkelroten und blauen Früchten sowie verführerischen floralen
Noten, die an Veilchen erinnern, dazu würzige Noten von Lakritze und Graphit. Am Gaumen ist dieser 2020er Monteverro satt, rund und kraftvoll mit dunkelbeeriger Frucht, bleibt aber ausgewogen und macht sich dann zum Finale hin sehr lang und endet mit spannenden Noten von Graphit, Tabak und schwarzbeeriger Frucht.

This is very tense and concentrated with an alluring character of ripe red and dark berries, hints of spicy herbs, black licorice and graphite. Full-bodied, deep and dynamic on the palate with a broad and firm backbone of tannins that are very refined and run the whole length of the wine. Really big and still slightly chewy, but so well crafted. Really long. From organically grown grapes.
